The Lake Elsinore Storm have continued to play well into the month of May, sitting atop the California League South Division with a 27-20 record. Pitching has been the primary strength of this year’s squad, as the staff has posted a league-leading 3.43 ERA through 47 games. Storm infielder Diego Goris has led the way on offense with a team-high .318 batting average while first-round draft pick Hunter Renfroe leads the team with 28 RBI.Make sure to get to The Diamond on Saturday, June 7 for the Storm Team Card Set Giveaway on Storm Alumni Night.

We’ll celebrate the men who have worn the Eyes over the years with a pregame ceremony as they return to where they once called home. The Storm will celebrate Father’s Day on the 7th as well, and fans can bring Dad for a pregame BBQ and a chance to play catch on the field. Sunday, June 8 is Bark in the Park, where fans can bring their dogs to The Diamond for the day. Dogs get in FREE when their owners purchase a ticket. Friday, June 20 is the 2014 Family Campout. Pack your tent and head to The Diamond for a night of baseball and an on-field sleepover. Fireworks after the game are sure to delight fans of all ages. Saturday, June 21 is Thunder’s birthday, and the big green dog’s mascot friends will be descending upon The Diamond from all over the Riverside, Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego area. Thunder will celebrate his birthday alongside Anti-Bullying Night.
