Papa Murphy’s Peter & Lindsey Wynia
Papa Murphy’s was started in 1981 and has grown to a franchise of over 1400 stores nationwide. Peter and Lindsey Wynia opened their first store here in Murrieta on Murrieta Hot Springs and Winchester Road in the fall of 2010. Since then, they have committed to growing their business here in the Inland Empire and want to share the taste and convenience of Take and Bake pizza. They just opened their third store in Sun City/Menifee, and hope to open a few more within the Inland Empire which they now call home.
Peter and Lindsey moved to the Temecula Valley in July 2011 to start their dream of owning a Peter Murphy’s Pizza. Papa Murphy’s Pizza has been around since 1981, but has never been in Southern California! As a Western Washington native, Peter gas been visiting Papa Murphy’s locations for the past 33 years. He loved the product so much, that he decided he wanted his own. Peter had been in the hotel industry for 15 years and decided he was ready to be his own owner/operator. Peter and Lindsey chose this area because of the great community and wonderful place to raise children. They are both heavily involved in the community and giving back to schools and associations in the area.
Christopher Durod their GM was at event representing Papa Murphy’s.
The core values/mission of Papa Murphy’s is: “Great quality, Great value and Great customer service”
The Menifee Union School District - Dr. Steve Kennedy, Superintendent
The Menifee Union School District has continued to grow in both student enrollment and in testing scores. Surpassing both, Lake Elsinore and Murrieta School Districts in rankings, the MUSD is now the second highest ranked school district in Southern Riverside County. The growth in student success has helped to attract many families to the Menifee community, which in turn has helped to bolster the local economy.
The Menifee Union School District has shown commitment to the local economy by linking local businesses with over 9400 students and their families, and the over 1,400 full and part-time employees. The District is able to do this by inviting businesses to become “Partners in Education,” and thereby bolstering awareness of the participating businesses across the community. These “Partners in Education” lime with the community by providing support for many events.
The Menifee Union School District holds a series of “Coffee with the Superintendent. The “Partners in Education” coffee connects the local businesses with the school site decision makers such as PTA and School Site Council leadership, and Principals.
It was a great event and we all appreciate Senator Mike Morrell holding this annual event.
