Have you ever visited the Ramona Bowl in Hemet for live theater?
May 5th is the last day to see the famous play, "Ramona". Since 1923 "Ramona" has delighted audiences of all ages. Entering the Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre for a performance of "Ramona" is like taking a journey back through time. The play is a beautiful love story. The romance and the tragedy of Ramona & Alessandro transfixes the crowd as they watch it unfold, offering a glimpse, though fictional, of the history of Southern California.
The Ramona Bowl also offers a Summer Youth Theatre Program where students ages 5-18 have the opportunity to learn the basics of Musical Theatre. They learn vocal techniques, character analysis, stage movement and blocking, and choreography which culminates in the presentation of a musical.
They soon will be presenting The Pirates of Penzance, and this month will offer auditions for Aladdin on May 21st.
