Through the Best FMX Riders in the World
At first glance, you might wonder what a Freestyle Motocross demo is doing at the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival, Sunday, June 5. To explain in simple terms Temecula Ca, is home to some of the top and most innovative daredevil riders in the world!
Legendary athletes Brian Deegan and Larry Linkogle founded Metal Mulisha in 1999 in the heart of Temecula. The Metal Mulisha has grown into one of the biggest, best and most extreme Freestyle Motocross team in the world. Known for winning gold medals, breaking world records, and turning industry tradition upside down through the sport of freestyle motocross, off-road truck racing, mixed martial arts and many other sports.
Recently Metal Mulisha suffered the loss of Jeff Ox Kargola during a motorcycle accident that took place outside San Felipe Mexico. Jeff, 27, started riding motocross at the age of 12 and turned pro at 16. He performed at the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival in the past.The shows will be dedicated to Ox as he will be remembered as a friend, family member and one of the greatest athletes of our time.
Jimmy Fitzpatrick, a local Temecula resident will perform live in the Rockstar Metal Mulisha FMX show during the Temecula Balloon andWine Festival in dedication to Ox.Many riders from the Metal Mulisha team and more from Temecula will come hang out and watch their teammate, friends and family perform live for thousands of southern California fans in Temecula during this special and annual event. Metal Mulisha will also be filming this live event.
